Overview

The Mathematics Education Study Program is a study program that covers the science of mathematics and its application in the context of education and teaching. Students of the Mathematics Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Parahyangan Catholic University are expected to acquire in-depth knowledge and skills regarding the theoretical, practical, and pedagogical aspects of mathematics. After studying these various aspects, students will develop several abilities, as follows:

1. Pedagogical Ability: Applying appropriate and correct educational science to teach mathematics in a fun, interactive, and innovative way at the basic and secondary education levels.
2. Mathematical Ability: Using mathematical concepts and methods as the main tools to analyze and explain various mathematical problems.
3. Computational Ability: Utilizing technology and software to model and solve mathematical problems.
4. Communication Ability: Delivering learning, ideas, and research results effectively, both orally and in writing.
