The Faculty of Education (FKIP) of Parahyangan Catholic University (UNPAR) is a newly established faculty within the university. Its formation is the result of the merger of STKIP Surya into UNPAR, officially sanctioned by the Indonesian Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology through Decree No. 566/E/O/2024. This decree grants permission for the merger of STKIP Surya in Tangerang Regency into Parahyangan Catholic University in Bandung City, under the administration of the Parahyangan Catholic University Foundation.
This mission aligns with the university’s motto, Bakuning Hyang Mrih Guna Santyaya Bhakti, which means pursuing knowledge for the benefit of society based on divinity.
FKIP UNPAR is dedicated to educating pre-service and in-service teachers who are highly qualified and ready to contribute to community development and well-being. Employing the LABIRIN approach (pembeLAjaran BerbasIs seRu, Interaktif dan uNik), FKIP UNPAR offers seven distinct study programs: six undergraduate programs and one master’s program. These include:
