Bachelor of English Education

The focus of teaching, research, and community service in the English Language Education Study Program at Parahyangan Catholic University includes:

1. Learning in English Language subjects at the Basic Education level with the LABIRIN (Fun, Interactive, and Unique Learning) Approach.
2. English Language, which is the use of the science of Language, linguistic elements, and English language skills in practical applications that can be directly applied in learning and educational technology.
3. English Teacher Education for International curriculum-based schools that are active in various competitions, which means educating teachers who master International-based curricula and are capable of creating, solving, and teaching English competition questions, both nationally and internationally.

To become a humanum academic community in the field of English Language Education that develops local potential up to the global level for the sake of improving human dignity and the integrity of creation.

Mission

1. To produce excellent graduates who are:
   • imbuing the Basic Values and Ethical Principles of UNPAR, possessing 21st-century skills and literacy abilities;
   • capable of educating by using learning that is based on fun, interactive, and unique methods;
   • capable of coaching/training for competitions;
   • ready to serve for the advancement of education in Indonesia.

The curriculum of the English Language Education Study Program at FKIP UNPAR is designed and created to meet the future needs of its students in terms of mastering the ability to educate basic and secondary students in the field of English Language science. In terms of teaching, students of the English Language Education Study Program at FKIP UNPAR are guided to master technological skills, literacy, and critical thinking abilities, without neglecting the Spirituality and Basic Values of UNPAR.

The students of the English Language Education Study Program are expected to:

1. Possess a qualified foundation in educational science (pedagogy) so that they can teach the subject matter in English Language Education in a fun, interactive, and unique way.
2. Possess a good foundation in English Language science, computational skills, and English language proficiency so that they can apply them to various real-world problems.
3. Be capable of lifelong independent learning.
4. Be capable of working collaboratively with others and communicating that work both orally and in writing.
5. Uphold high moral and ethical standards and possess social sensitivity as embodied in the Spirituality and Basic Values of Parahyangan Catholic University (SINDU).
6. Be capable of creating independent businesses to meet their livelihood needs by utilizing their pedagogical skills and knowledge of English Language Education.
