Overview

The Informatics and Computer Engineering Education Study Program (TIK) at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Parahyangan Catholic University (UNPAR), is an academic program aimed at producing competent and professional educators in the field of Informatics and Computer Engineering. This program is designed to prepare students to become TIK (Informatics and Computer Engineering) teachers who possess in-depth knowledge of current technology as well as effective pedagogical skills. This study program has been accredited VERY GOOD with SK Number 277/SK/LAMDIK/Ak/S/III/2025, valid until March 18, 2029.

The curriculum of this program includes a combination of theory and practice, with a minimum total of 145 SKS (Satuan Kredit Semester / Semester Credit Units) that students must complete. Some of the main courses taught include Essential TIK Concepts, Development of TIK Learning Media, Computer Programming, Computer Networks, Database Systems, Educational Research Methodology, TIK Curriculum Design and Development, as well as Practicum and Internships in Schools. The program also supports the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) (Independent Learning-Independent Campus Program), which provides opportunities for students to study outside the campus through internships, student exchange, research, humanitarian projects, and other activities that are recognized for academic credits (SKS).
